Information for Parents and Carers

Safer Internet Day can be a day where you can talk to your child about staying safe online and learn about what they already know and what they do online.

Safer Internet Day have provided conversation starters for getting a conversation started with your child about being safe on the internet. E.g. What does a better internet mean to them?

This can also get your children thinking about the internet in a much wider scale and think about why you need to be safe while browsing.

This year, the UK Safer Internet Center has produced a fact sheet for parents and carers with links to different online resources. This can be viewed here.
